Wat zijn de voordelen van alcohol voor uw auto?

What are the benefits of alcohol?1 - Cheaper at the gas pump: Alcohol is on average 25% cheaper than gasoline2 - Better mileage: Alcohol has 105 octanes and burns better at higher speeds3 -

Renewable resource: Alcohol comes from the fermentation of sugarcane, corn, etc., unlike gasoline that comes from oil that eventually will run out4 - Less pollution: Alcohol burns clearer than gasoline and does not carry the lead and other heavy metals that come with gas and that eventually get to the atmosphere.

Also, it is BIODEGRADABLE and water-based, unlike gasoline.Where does alcohol come from? From the natural fermentation of sugar-rich products, such as sugarcane, corn, garbage, paper, etc. In fact, it is created naturally in the soil as leaves and other dirt deteriorates, so it´s a NATURAL product unlike gasoline, which is an artificial petroleum byproduct. What is the country where alcohol has caught up the best?Brazil. No doubt about it.

In fact, there are no longer vehicles in Brazil running on pure gasoline, as the country has running 1/2 of its entire fleet on 100% alcohol for over 30 years. And this where our technology comes from! What is E15 and E85 I hear often?E85 is gasoline with 15% alcohol. E85 is the opposite: 85% alcohol with 15% gasoline, and it´s the best choice for transportation!Where do I buy E85?There are nearly 1900 gas Stations in the US with on E85 ethanol fuel and this number is expected to double in a little over a year as service stations are being offered incentives from Government and Ethanol Industry grants up to $30,000 to install E85 Fuel pumpsI heard that the production of alcohol might hinder the production of food. Is it true?We support the production of alcohol from SUGARCANE.

In fact, corn-based alcohol needs 4 times more land due to its lower sugar content and it is 7 times less efficient than sugarcane (see the NY times article). Also, corn is edible, while sugarcane is just a grass that can at best be only chewed on.Where can I learn more? There are several articles in the web, like for example here and here. Good articles on alcohol and Brazil can be found here and here (ref. www.1hourflex.com)
